Support Breast Cancer Care on Pink Fridays

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and at Breast Cancer Care we are celebrating all things pink with an extra special reason to have fun fundraising – Fridays!

Pink Fridays are all about getting together with your favourite people and raising money to help us support people affected by breast cancer.

I’m very excited to be involved with Pink Fridays for the first time this year. I’m already dreaming about pink cupcakes and marshmallows. It might even be an excuse to buy some new pink shoes! On a serious note, my mum died of breast cancer when I was little, so I know only too well how scary it can be not only for the person with the illness but for their friends and families too. That’s why I’m encouraging everyone I know to have a Pink Friday party to ensure Breast Cancer Care can be there for anyone affected by breast cancer. Thank you.
