Would you like to fundraise money for Breast Cancer Care by organising something unique? Here are some ideas for you:
- Charge an entry fee or sell tickets to your Pink Friday.
- Ask local businesses to donate pink raffle prizes or ask all your friends to bring one gift along (you can download our raffle guidelines to help you with your event).
- A craft or cake stall can be held almost anywhere – indoors or out.
- Sell Breast Cancer Care pin badges to your friends and colleagues at your Pink Friday.
- Why not sponsor someone to wear pink fancy dress at work for the day?
- Our Bingo lingo game is an easy way to raise money. Simply download a copy and get everyone donating and guessing!
- Indulge yourself and your friends in the name of charity by having the girls over for a pamper evening. Create a spa in your living room and charge everyone £3
- Let loose and have a good time by holding your own Pink Fridays party
- Raise money with a full house. Invite your mates over for a game of bingo with the proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care and a prize for the winners.
- Get your boss a pink apron and put them on tea-making duty for the day. Ask everyone at work to pay £2 to have a cup of tea and biscuits served by the boss.
- Take photos of your colleagues in pink disguises and then get everyone to pay £1 to guess who they are and win a prize.

Curves in Blackpool held their event on a Sunday. We organized a pink horse ride around the local community which helped to raise awareness as well as donations for Breast Cancer Care.

Alice Gray made a heart-shaped cushion for a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer to protect her wound after surgery. With help from a craft group, she made bigger quantities of the cushions and so far raised £800 for Breast Cancer Care.
'This may seem a simple thing but it does make a tremendous difference. Not only through providing physical relief but also knowing someone cares enough to make them something personal'
Alice Gray
