Every 11 minutes someone is diagnosed with breast cancer. My grandmother was one such person and as a family we know first-hand how difficult it is to come to terms with. It rocks your world and you re-evaluate everything that’s important to you. Raising money for other people affected by breast cancer is important to me and that’s why I’m encouraging everyone to hold a Pink Friday party in aid of Breast Cancer Care. You can do whatever you want, wherever you want so get planning right now!
Unleash your inner pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so why not get your workmates, friends or family together and have a Pink Friday?
A Pink Friday can be whatever you want it to be – as long as it’s pink, it’s fun and it raises money for Breast Cancer Care. And if Friday doesn’t work for you, just pick a day that does.
By unleashing your inner pink for one day this October, you can help support people affected by breast cancer 365 days a year.

‘I've been an ambassador for Breast Cancer Care for five years now and I always look forward to October. It's a chance to get all my friends and family together, have fun and make a real difference. Three thousand people people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this October alone. By holding a Pink Friday party, however small, you will help to ensure Breast Cancer Care can be there for each and every one of them. I'm going to see if I can organise one in the office this year - it's about time they donned some silly pink outfits!’
