Have a Pink Friday and support Breast Cancer Care

Every 11 minutes someone in the UK hears the shocking news that they have breast cancer. You can help Breast Cancer Care to be there to support them by having a Pink Friday with your workmates, family or friends. A Pink Friday can be anything you want as long as it's pink, it's fun and it raises money for Breast Cancer Care.

Every penny you raise will help to make sure that our free helpline, information-packed website and special face-to-face support services are free to use for anyone who needs them.

And if Friday doesn't work for you, just pick a date that does! Find out how to get started...

Can't hold an event?

If you’re unable to hold a Pink Friday this year, but would like to support Breast Cancer Care, we’d be very grateful if you would consider making a donation.

£10 pays to provide an accurate, accessible information pack to someone newly diagnosed with breast cancer, so even small amounts make a real difference to the lives of people affected.

Stories from last year

I've been an ambassador for Breast Cancer Care for five years now and I always look forward to October. It's a chance to get all my friends and family together, have fun and make a real difference. Nearly 4,000 people people will be diagnosed with breast cancer this October alone. By holding a Pink Friday party, however small, you will help to ensure Breast Cancer Care can be there for each and every one of them. I'm going to see if I can organise one in the Capital Radio office this year - it's about time they donned some silly pink outfits!
